The FL10 fl ame detector is able to detect within a few seconds a fl ame produced by a fi re within its fi eld of vision. It finds particular application in places where it is presumed that a fire can develop rapidly such as in warehouses of petroleum products, paints, plastic materials, alcohols, etc. The operating principle is based on the detection of infrared radiation emitted by a flame. The circuitry and advanced electronic components used make the detector very effi cient and at the same time highly immune to false alarms generally produced by natural disturbances or those produced in the protected environment. The enclosure of the device is made of self-extinguishing polycarbonate and has remarkable robustness and ease of installation.
